Hueck Foils has launched both peelable and peel/push versions of blister lidding foil for pharmaceuticals requiring child-resistant packaging. Blister packaging incorporating these lidding foils has successfully passed U.S. CPSC protocols. In addition to mechanical resistance, both formats provide a barrier to moisture, air and light.
In other news, Hueck Foils has introduced its Cold-Form Foil, providing cold-form cavities into which product is inserted and then covered with a suitable lidding foil. The Cold-Form Foil possesses high tension-at-break and elongation-at-break mechanical properties and maintains high dimensional stability after cold forming.
